Message from Chairman Desk

"Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has Genius, Power & Magic in it." – Robin Sharma

Making changes to move ahead requires courage and determination. We, at WIRC, decided that the way to make progress is to think bold, be bold and act bold. This mind-set has changed the way we strategise and implement new initiatives. The positive results achieved since March of this year are testimony to the changes brought about through being BOLD.

ICAI Marg and CA Bhawan Marg – A Matter of Pride

A truly historic moment for the Profession, our beloved Institution, Members and students in India, WIRC is proud to announce the first ever naming of not one but two roads in the WIRC Region. The first is ‘ICAI Marg’ which is the road in front of the Akola Branch of WIRC. The second road is ‘CA Bhawan Marg’ at the Amravati Branch of WIRC. Both these roads were inaugurated by our esteemed ICAI President CA. Nihar N. Jambusaria. It is a matter of great pride for Chartered Accountants everywhere that our fraternity is recognised and honoured for posterity in the form of roads being named after the profession and our beloved Institution.

The naming of these roads are positive testimony to the respect and status accorded to the profession in our society and I take this opportunity to thank the Chairman and Committee members of Akola & Amravati Branches of WIRC for their immense efforts and perseverance to achieve these goals for the greater glory of our Alma Mater and Profession.

Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated on 2nd October by the nation and all of us in our own way. Mahatma Gandhiji was one man with one goal who made the impossible happen. A truly inspiring figure from whom we can keep learning, he teaches us to, “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” Let us remember his words and live life in the best way possible.

Chairman
